Winnebago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a tribal government attorney with 3 years of experience in tribal government, code drafting, 638 contracting or self-governance work, vendor contracting, and emphasis on Human Resources. The candidate will work on cases in a variety of areas including representation in tribal governments in tribal, federal, and state courts, before federal and state legislative bodies and agencies, including drafting ordinances, regulations and policies, negotiating, and review of contracts, working on the fee to trust matters, and addressing tribal law and order issues. Tribal law enforcement experience and experience with Microsoft Office and cloud-based computing environments are preferred. Must have an active admission to any State Bar, with the ability to become licensed in Nebraska. Must have experience working with Indian law or tribal courts.

The candidate must have a J.D. from an ABA accredited Law School. Must have attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures. Must have ability to effectively interact, orally and in writing. Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a roll up your sleeves and team-oriented attitude. Must have exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities and adhering to strict deadlines. Must have first-rate academic credentials and references. Must have superior research, writing and analytical skills and technology-oriented. Must have a commitment to participating in the Firms marketing and public relations initiatives, including joining associations, securing leadership roles, and conducting webinars, seminars, and speaking engagements.
