San Diego office of our client seeks managing attorney with experience. The candidate calls client for initial introduction within 24 hours upon receipt of New Client Email (NCE). Conducts research, interviews clients and witnesses, and handles other details in preparation for trial. Prepares legal briefs, develops strategy, arguments, and testimony in preparation for presentation for criminal case and at DMV or other administrative hearing. Represents client in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government. Calls client before and after court hearings for case updates. Responds to all client inquiries (e-mail, phone calls). Draws up and files appropriate motions and litigates all phases of case after conferring with Managing Attorney regarding trial and motion strategy. Appropriately documents file and advises client orally and in writing of legal rights and obligations. Both motion and trial experience are preferred. Must have California State Bar membership or eligible to practice under the Registered Legal Services Attorney Program (admitted to practice in another state and eligible to practice in California.

The candidate should have J.D. Degree. Should have ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions. Effective communication skills to represent clients in legal hearings, meetings, negotiations or administrative proceedings are essential. Must have ability to work in a rapidly developing, team-oriented environment under the direction and guidance of the Senior Managing Attorney.
