Junior Toxic Tort Associate

Location

Duties

• Take and defend depositions of expert and fact witnesses

• Draft complex litigation documents, including motions and memoranda

• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests

• Communicate with clients regularly to develop and maintain relationships

• Prepare trial documents, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation

• Licensed to practice law in California

• Experience in a billable work environment

• Ability to work independently and handle litigation responsibilities under deadlines

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
