Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level energy associate lawyer with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate should have general experience representing investors and developers in wide-range of real property development transactions; drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, development agreements, construction contracts, crossing agreements, mineral interest waivers. Knowledge and/or experience with energy projects is ideal; exposure to renewables and conventional energy project development transactions. Should have experience drafting and negotiating commercial, mineral, wind, and solar leases. Strong title and survey experience is needed. Some background negotiating JV and operating agreements; general corporate related experience is essential. Land use and entitlements regulatory experience is needed. Cross-border and international experience a plus.

The candidate should have excellent analytical skills. Strong business acumen is needed. Ability to accurately and efficiently manage high volumes of work is essential. Must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Should have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
