Job Overview:
An emerging law firm located in Coral Springs, FL, is seeking multiple attorneys to join its expanding first-party property insurance defense practice. While specific experience in homeowners' insurance or property damage-related litigation is preferred, it is not required. The firm is looking for self-motivated candidates with strong writing skills who are admitted to practice law in Florida. Location:

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of first-party property insurance defense matters
• Prepare initial case assessments and reports
• Conduct motion practice and handle all related legal procedures
• Take and defend depositions
• Communicate directly with attorneys and clients via telephone and email
• Track and record billed time related to case management and tasks

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 0-6 years of civil litigation experience in state and/or federal court
• Self-motivated with strong writing skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and drafting abilities
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong organizational skills and time management
