Senior Corporate Counsel

Palo Alto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior corporate counsel, preferably with 7 years of experience, both in-house and at a leading law firm. The candidate will provide corporate legal support to companies comparable to what is offered by experienced in-house attorneys, and will perform general corporate legal functions, including drafting routine documents such as NDAs, consulting agreements, and other agreements, and providing general corporate and transactional advice on day-to-day corporate matters. Will also serve as a resource to refer the client to additional legal resources provided by Firms, as and when needed, including our Corporate, Technology Transactions, Patent & Innovations, Regulatory, Litigation, and Life Sciences Business Advisory Practices. Provide services to approximately 3-5 clients at a given time and may also provide services on an hourly basis to additional clients as appropriate based on bandwidth and client demand. Will have extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of corporate legal agreements across a broad range of segments within the life sciences industry (e.g., medical device, diagnostics, biotechnology, etc.) and companies at various stages of maturity, ideally spanning early stage or emerging growth to publicly traded.

The candidate should have well-developed client counseling skills and excellent judgment to know when to refer and/or confer with supervising partners on appropriate matters.
