Trial Attorney

Towson office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a trial attorney preferably with 1-2 years of trial experience. The candidate will ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed. Will assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action. Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process. Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings. Review legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases. Regularly prepare and attend court appearances for conferences, hearings, and trials. Rendering legal advice. Conduct strategy sessions with clients. Prepare and represent clients at merit bench trials. Must be Licensed to practice and in good standing in Maryland.

The candidate should have the ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case. Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required. Must have great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations.
