Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney with a robust understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. The successful candidate will bring 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, complemented by excellent academic credentials and exceptional research and writing skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on complex insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of insurance policies and coverage disputes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related documents, such as contracts, policies, and compliance materials.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, including arbitration and mediation.
• Perform detailed legal research and produce comprehensive analyses on insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Develop and implement strategic case plans to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
• Stay abreast of legal developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends affecting insurance law.
• Prepare and argue legal motions, briefs, and other essential documentation in court and legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in addressing insurance coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
