Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements

  • Handle retail leasing matters with a focus on accuracy and client service

  • Provide practical legal counsel on a wide range of real estate leasing issues

  • Operate independently without day-to-day supervision

  • Meet deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment

  • Respond efficiently to business needs and maintain high standards of work

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of real estate legal experience, with a focus on commercial leasing

  • Retail leasing experience is strongly preferred

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the current jurisdiction or eligible for admission without examination

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Proven responsiveness and reliability in client and team interactions

  • Comfortable working under pressure in a deadline-driven setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the candidate’s current jurisdiction

  • Eligibility for admission in additional jurisdictions without examination is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills in lease transactions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Capable of managing competing priorities effectively
