Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks probate litigation associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate will primarily work in a practice that concentrates on probate litigation with a focus on contested guardianships and conservatorships, will contests, trust disputes and breaches of fiduciary duty. Will develop strategy and participate in strategy discussion, determine priorities and identify issues. Delegate to and supervise work of paralegals and assistants. Review and edit paralegal drafts of probate documents for formal probates, informal probates, guardianships and conservatorships. Draft substantive complaints, motions, oppositions, correspondence and other pleadings for contested matters. Research and prepare accompanying memorandums for various probate issues. Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas and document requests. Attend meetings and court hearings. Draft estate planning documents, including but not limited to, wills, revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies and irrevocable life insurance trusts. Must have experience working directly with clients and representing them in court proceedings as well as developing litigation tactics and negotiation strategies for the dynamic and fast-paced practice area of probate litigation.

The candidate should possess exceptional writing, analytical and legal research skills as well as the unique communication and interpersonal skills. Should also possess excellent academic credentials and must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision and be highly organized and responsive. Should be a team player with a collaborative spirit and a compassionate nature.

Law offices are located in Boston and Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The law practice has one-hundred years of professional legal expertise. A fairly large team of skillful attorneys make up their law firm. Practice disciplines are comprehensive.
