New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks junior to mid-level labor and employment law associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will advise clients and contribute to and/or manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis. Should have substantive, relevant experience, including the following: Counseling clients, litigating, and conducting trainings and internal investigations in connection with employment law issues, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and leave and accommodation matters; traditional labor experience, including participation in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and matters before the NLRB, strongly preferred. Experience in drafting employment-related agreements essential. Experience in handling matters before government agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state and federal Departments of Labor needed, defending clients in single-plaintiff and class action employment-related litigation, advising clients on employment-related aspects of M&A transactions. Must also have significant experience independently handling motions and discovery, including experience taking depositions. Some trial experience is preferred. Admission to the NY Bar is required.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials and interpersonal skills, excellent legal writing skills. Must have exceptional writing skills, strong client communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to substantively advise clients and contribute to and/or manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis.
