Clackamas office of our client seeks a foreclosure associate attorney preferably with 2+ years of related experience in the mortgage area. The candidate will assist with the management of the Oregon foreclosure process and related judicial proceedings, where necessary. Court appearances may be expected depending on workload. Initial intake and analysis of files and generate strategy and budget within a 24-hour time frame on litigation where needed. Review chain of title, pleadings, and foreclosure documents, and respond to lender and agent requests. Think on your feet and quickly shift task to task depending on daily needs. Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, and articles for compliance purposes. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. Requires active membership in the OR State Bar, in good standing. Membership in another western State Bar is a plus.

The candidate must have a JD from an accredited law school and work experience. Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local laws. Must have the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations. Must have strong character and a positive attitude are absolute requirements. Must have strong writing skills and be able to draft processes, procedures, communications to clients, and possible civil litigation documents. Must be motivated self-starter, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, flexible and personable. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully. Must balance team and individual responsibilities; contribute to building a positive team spirit. Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality. Detailed analytic experience and organizational skills required.
