Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is currently seeking an experienced securities lawyer with over 6 years of expertise in managing structured securities offerings for its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in a wide variety of transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and the development of commercial real estate. This position is available in multiple U.S. office locations.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Manage securities offerings and advise on related transactions including acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
  • Represent clients in commercial real estate law, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, and development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on real estate finance and securities matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients on high-profile investment projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of client deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Previous experience with large law firms or AmLaw 100 firms preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is based.
