Charlotte office of our client seeks associate attorney with 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in the area of immigration. The candidate will be meeting with prospective clients and current clients and developing case strategies. Will be preparing and making court appearances. Drafting letters and pleadings. Multi-tasking between several practice areas, if needed. Reaching billing requirements. Traveling to surrounding counties, if needed. Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitoring their work. Generating new clients. Being fluent in Spanish is strongly preferred. Must be a member of the North Carolina State Bar and in good standing.
The candidate must have strong communication, research and writing skills. Must be willing to work hard to ensure that the clients receive top-notch client service and results. Skills and experience are important and valued, but personality, character, intelligence, and integrity are also extremely important considerations.
