Associate Attorney

Chicago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience in Family law. The candidate will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Being fluent in Spanish is highly preferred.

The candidate must have familiarity with 750 ILCS 5/ Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. Must have the ability to build rapport with clients. Must have the ability to prioritize client matters by level of importance and time sensitivity. Must be proactive, problem-solving attitude and strong work ethic without extensive supervision; ability to effectively and efficiently manage numerous cases and projects under time-sensitive deadlines. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with an acute ability to listen attentively and communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization. Must have proficiency and high aptitude with computer skills, including experience using: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.
