Hartford office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an environmental associate attorney with 2-6 years of demonstrated environmental experience. The candidate should preferably have demonstrated experience representing clients in environmental aspects of real estate and business transactions and environmental regulatory and litigation matters, including in areas such as environmental permitting, environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement, Connecticut Transfer Act compliance, environmental due diligence, site remediation, and brownfield redevelopment. Substantive familiarity with state and federal governmental and quasi-governmental environmental entities is required. Experience with land use, zoning, siting, and energy matters is preferred. Must have Connecticut Bar admission in good standing.

The candidate should have excellent technical, legal research, professional, and client service skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills. Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration is required. Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs are needed.
