Sioux City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks business transaction attorney with 2-5 years of relevant experience with a strong interest in business, general corporate, and commercial work. The candidate will be assisting businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues. Will be assisting and advising businesses on establishing their companys structure, policies, objectives, and procedures for their business operations. Ensuring all relevant laws and outcomes are understood and obeyed by businesses. Researching and resolving legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and legal representation. Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to client business operations. Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the business involved. Ensuring all client business processes, strategies, and actions comply with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws. Managing multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines. Collaborating with clients and their advisors to develop strategies designed to meet specific goals. Business development, including professional organization involvement and writing. Supervising paralegals, staff, and team members as role progress. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Successful passing of the Bar exam is required. Must have Active member in good standing of the Bar or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Iowa. 5-7 years of specific drafting and client advising are preferred.

The candidate should have superior verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent critical thinking, analytical, reasoning, and negotiation skills. The ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively in oral and written form is required. Must have excellent interpersonal and client service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail needed. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines are required. Must have strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Should work collaboratively as part of a team. Should have good leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate is required. The ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment is needed. Bachelors degree is required. Should have Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Strong work ethic, drive, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment are needed. Excellent academic and professional credentials are desired.
