Atlanta office of our client seeks litigation associate attorney with experience representing federal employees in employment claims, federal court litigation experience, or other experience needed in a general federal litigation practice. The candidate will join its Federal Employment Litigation Team. Will be expected to quickly get up to speed regarding the federal employment process with the goal of managing their own case load. Bill 1,560 hours per year. Have direct client contact; manage full-cycle litigation for cases in front of the EEOC, MSPB, OFO, OSC, and OPM. Draft complaints, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents. Negotiate settlement agreements; conduct hearings in person, telephonically, and via video-conference. Advise clients regarding their employment matters. Should have employment law or litigation experience in the federal sector, including experience with any or all of the following: the EEOC; MSPB, OSC, and OPM. GA Bar admission is preferred, other Bar admissions considered.
The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have time management skills, including the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines. Outstanding attention to detail essential. Problem-solving skills; and the ability to work both independently and in teams needed.
