Commercial Associate Attorney

Stamford office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a commercial associate attorney with 3+ years of professional experience. Must have experience advising affluent families, family offices, closely-held businesses, or other business enterprises in some or all of the following areas: commercial transactions including licensing agreements, joint ventures. purchase and sale transactions business combinations and divestitures. Drafting and negotiation of employment contracts and separation agreements. Entity formation, including partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs), limited liability partnerships (LLPs), the negotiation and drafting of joint ventures and shareholder agreements, and corporate governance. Must also have experience evaluating and undertaking different types of investments, including investments in private equity and hedge funds, angel and venture capital investing, and direct company investments. Experience with sports and entertainment transactions, including film, music, and endorsement transactions is a plus. Must have an active member in good standing in Connecticut and/or New York bars.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials with a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Broad experience and the willingness to work in a broad variety of commercial and corporate and investment projects are preferred.
