Tampa office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior labor and employment attorney with experience. The candidate will be exposed to and shall be responsible for handling a wide range and number of complex litigation matters and use state of the art litigation software. Will maintain positive contact with clients, observe confidentiality of client matters, and must be team-oriented. Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery; have primary responsibility for management of all facets of case from inception through discovery and trial. Organize and maintain case files; delegate work to and supervise other attorneys, secretaries and other staff. Prepare and maintain issue, subject-matter, witness and deposition files. Review and analyze discovery requests and prepare discovery responses. Supervise document reviews with legal team, clients, and vendors. Take responsibility for document reviews for responsiveness, case issues, and privilege responses to discovery requests and to identify privileged documents, documents for redaction, case issues in context. Prepare and maintain document and transcript databases in various formats. Prepare and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions. Prepare for and take numerous and at times lengthy fact and expert depositions. Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing. Keep accurate time records. Prepare for and handle trials and arbitrations as needed. Market self and FMG for growth of practice. Mentor and advise associates. Must be in good standing and able to practice law in the state of FL. Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Office Suite essential. Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive a plus.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school. Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background essential. Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver essential. Must be self-motivated, and goal oriented with a track record of meeting billable hours goals. Must be inclined to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. Personable, has the ability to maintain client relationships. Should be detail oriented, organized and effective. Must be professional and can get along with people; communicates well with staff.
