Litigation - InsuranceInsurance Defense
Brooklyn office of our client seeks insurance defense litigation attorney with preferably 1-3 years of experience. The candidate will take on substantive litigation responsibilities as part of a personal injury and property damage in-house defense team. Will work with experienced partners, other associates, claims, underwriting, and paralegal support staff, in the defense of taxi and livery drivers throughout the State of New York. Be involved in reviewing and evaluating cases, analyzing medicals, preparing and trying cases, making court appearances, and taking and defending depositions. Must be admitted to practice in the State of New York. Experience in general liability, torts, and/or transportation is desired. Experience drafting motions is essential.
The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited law school. Excellent legal writing and communication skills is essential.
