Menlo Park office of an AmLaw firm seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with preferably 2-4 years of experience. The candidate must be experienced in preparing and prosecuting optics and electrical engineering-related applications. An aptitude for portfolio development and client counseling is a plus. Must have a USPTO Reg. No. and possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. California or Washington Bar members are preferred. Should preferably have Ph.D or Masters degree in physics or electrical engineering, as well as experience in optics, sensors, image processing, and machine learning.

The candidate must be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal skills.
