Senior Associate Coverage Attorney or Junior Partner

Rocky Hill office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior associate coverage attorney or junior partner with 10+ years of experience in insurance coverage, reinsurance, regulatory, and compliance counseling and litigation. The candidate will work on complex challenging insurance and reinsurance legal issues. Will handle assigned caseload independently, including supervision of other insurance coverage lawyers. Analyze insurance and reinsurance policies, draft insurance coverage opinions, and respond to regulatory inquiries. Communicate with clients and provide recommendations. Maintain an excellent relationship with clients, including complying with all client guidelines. Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met. Handle assigned caseload both independently and with supervision commensurate with experience. Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery. Analyze insurance policies and draft insurance coverage opinions. Communicate with clients and provide recommendations. Perform extensive research. Maintain an excellent relationship with clients, including complying with all client guidelines. Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met. Previous experience in the following areas would helpful: insurance coverage, insurance defense, or similar insurance experience (reinsurance, regulatory), compliance and commercial litigation, data security, and privacy. Litigation experience is a plus. Federal Court experience is also a plus. Should be admitted to practice in the State of New York. PA, NJ, and/or CT Bar admissions would be a plus.

The candidate must have exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Should preferably have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong and professional communication skills, and be friendly and outgoing.
