Litigation Associate Attorney

Woodland Hills office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate attorney with 5+ years of corporate or business law-related experience. The candidate will handle cases from inception through settlement or trial; planning, organizing and presenting arguments and counter-arguments. Will maintain rapport with clients through regular contact and satisfying client needs. Prepare cases for litigation by drafting and filing lawsuits; evaluating cases; completing discovery. Take and defend depositions including client and expert depositions. Provide clients with legal advice by conducting legal research; updating clients regarding case developments; explaining legal concepts to clients. Draft opinions based on a review of the clients governing documents (CC&Rs, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Policies, etc.) as well as state and federal laws. Prepare vendor contracts, prepare and draft letters and legal documents on behalf of clients. Attend board meetings (Zoom and in-person). Substantial litigation experience is essential. Must be a Licensed CA attorney. Transactional experience is a plus. Should have experience to assist with HOA and real estate matters.
