Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks environmental associate attorney with 1-6 years of experience with environmental, natural resource, climate change or sustainability issues in the context of compliance counseling, corporate audits and management programs, obtaining permits and other regulatory authorizations, enforcement defense or litigation. The candidate will get to work on precedent setting legal matters with a team that values direct client contact, mentoring and training. Will have the opportunity to work on interesting, long-term projects with established clients. Should preferably have experience or interest in climate change mitigation, environmental justice, corporate transitions in energy generation, electrification of the transportation sector, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and product management in the context of chemicals, waste, circular economy and sustainability. Applicants with relevant government experience are encouraged to apply. Active membership in the DC Bar is preferred.
The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
