Mid-level Real Estate Commercial Special Servicing And Loan Restructuring Associate Attorney

Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level real estate commercial special servicing and loan restructuring associate attorney with 4 years of experience in commercial special servicing and loan restructuring. The candidate should have significant experience representing servicers and lenders in connection with the workout and enforcement of distressed commercial real estate loans. Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan documents, modifications, forbearance agreements, and similar documents; reviewing, analyzing, and managing legal and due diligence (including organizational documents and structure; title, survey, and lease review; and legal opinions); and managing and closing complex commercial real estate loan workout transactions is essential. Experience with CMBS loans and hospitality finance is a plus. Should preferably be comfortable training and managing junior associates and paralegals. Prior law firm experience is required. Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.

The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and an outstanding academic record. Should hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
