A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice, laboratory medicine, and professional liability matters. The ideal candidate should be admitted to practice law in California and possess strong research and writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates with clerkship and employment litigation experience. The role entails honing litigation skills such as taking and defending depositions, arguing motions in federal and state court, working with expert witnesses, and preparing for trial.



  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff on case strategy and execution.
  • Prepare for and participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence gathering.
  • Take and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and other parties.
  • Argue motions before federal and state courts.
  • Work with expert witnesses to develop case strategies and trial presentations.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation-related matters.



  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice, laboratory medicine, and professional liability matters.
  • Experience with clerkship and employment litigation is preferred.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.



Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.



Admission to the State Bar of California.
