Duties

  • Advise clients on complex legal matters within your established area of practice

  • Lead and manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal services

  • Collaborate with partners and peers on cross-disciplinary matters

  • Contribute to strategic development of practice group initiatives

  • Engage in business development efforts and firm-sponsored initiatives

Requirements

  • Significant prior legal experience in private practice or a related setting

  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently and efficiently

  • Proven track record of client service and business development

  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional excellence

  • Portable business preferred but not required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (preferred)

  • Attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions with eligibility for NC admission also considered
