Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Charlotte office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a bankruptcy associate attorney with 3+ years of experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, and objections to Chapter 13 plans. Will respond to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal and otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys. Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience a plus. Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research is essential. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, and all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina and all federal bankruptcy courts. Admitted to practice in other states is a plus.

The candidate should have excellent leadership skills. Must have excellent communication and organization abilities. Should have a strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload.
