Lafayette office of our client seeks junior to mid-level litigation associate attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The candidate will be focused in the areas of federal and state environmental litigation, environmental regulatory actions, judicial challenges to agency decisions, environmental aspects of transactions and policyholder insurance coverage. Admission to the California Bar is required. Must preferably have litigation experience, including preparation of pleadings, substantive motions, depositions and e-discovery. Experience with document management databases (Concordance, Relativity) desired. Should preferably have strong computer skills.
The candidate should have excellent legal research, writing, verbal communication and analytical skills. Must have exceptional attention to detail. Strong organization and time management skills needed. Able to take direction and manage tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
