A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with a strong background in commercial, timber, and agricultural real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and at least three years of relevant experience. They should possess excellent academic credentials, demonstrate project ownership, and be committed to client service.


  • Handle commercial, timber, and agricultural real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and finance transactions.
  • Conduct real estate due diligence, including title review and development-related contracts.
  • Engage in business development activities and participate in real estate and/or natural resource industry groups.
  • Provide exemplary client service and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members while demonstrating significant independence in managing projects.


  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial, timber, and agriculture real estate transactions.
  • Strong interest in real estate and/or natural resource industry groups.
  • Excellent academic credentials and professional references.
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Oregon State Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity.


  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
