Reston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an emerging companies resource attorney with 4-6 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice. The candidate will be preparing, improving, annotating, and automating template documents. Curating and organizing forms, precedents, and other know-how. Will be working with the legal education team to develop training and educational content in the practice group. Coordinating with lawyers across practice groups and other Firms personnel to ensure review, updating, and other contributions for practice resources and external publications. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relative to ECVC practice; preparing summaries and alerts regarding same; ensuring new legal requirements are reflected in practice resources. Developing content for Firms' publications, teach-ins, and/or other external-facing resources. Helping field day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resources. Be involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation and technology projects TBD. All other duties as assigned or required. Must be a licensed attorney.

The candidate should preferably have a well-developed skill set of working with larger, later-stage private companies and the main types of transactions and issues in day-to-day private company counseling. Strong drafting skills are required. Must handle multiple ongoing projects, including coordinating with attorneys and other stakeholders on projects requiring many inputs. Associate experience running closings and coordinating diligence/disclosures on transactions should be a transferable skill. Should have attention to Detail. Detailed drafting and analysis needed for template documents are required. Able to take a leading role in formulating and developing new resources is required. Should need to take the initiative in advancing resource projects. Must be a team Player.
