Cottonwood Heights office of our client seeks commercial litigation associate attorney preferably with 1-7 years of experience. The candidate will prepare pleadings and ancillary correspondence for all phases of litigation. Will conduct motion practice and attend court when required during the litigation lifecycle, which may include first-chairing trials. Effectively and responsively communicate with Firm clients, opposing counsel, opposing parties, and court staff. Implement strategies to collect on judgments obtained on behalf of clients. Conduct legal research required to make successful legal arguments and recommendations to Firm clients. Document account/file activity in accordance with Firm and client policies and procedures. Attend continuing education classes, webinars, and seminars to remain current and well-informed of any local, state, or federal changes in the law, rules of court, or court procedures. Provide guidance and training to administration staff. Other duties as assigned. Must be qualified to practice law in the State of Utah. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws is needed.

The candidate should have a J.D from an accredited law school. The ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations is needed. Possesses a collaborative disposition. Must have superior time management skills who is adept at managing priorities to meet business requirements and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Possesses leadership skills and the ability to drive and motivate other employees to achieve results. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed.
