Lyndhurst office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks education and school law attorney with 1-2 years of experience. The candidate will be interested in servicing public entities, specifically in education and school law. Will be directly involved with attending and covering frequent Board of Education meetings. Be directly involved with assisting our education clients in all aspects of labor law that affects them. Some of the areas include: seniority questions; tenure questions; non-renewals; increment withholdings; contracts with vendors; issues involving certification of staff; constitutional issues; tenure dismissal and other disciplinary actions; leaves of absence pursuant to contract; FMLA, NJFLA and the recently enacted Executive Orders and Acts involving specific responses by employers when employees make requests due to the COVID-19 crisis. Be involved in all phases and types of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and including trial and appellate litigation. Education Law or Special Education Law experience is a plus.

The candidate should have excellent research, writing and presentation skills, and high professional standards.
