The candidate will serve in extensive document reviews, including interpretation of technical matters. Should have Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management degree and/or extensive experience in construction. Experience attending legislative body meetings and capable of independently evaluating and responding to routine contracting questions and disputes are essential. Must be proficient in public contracting requirements, contract negotiation, drafting and review, Federal Funding requirements, bid protests, surety/bond issues, insurance issues, Government code claims.
