Oakland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with 3-6 years of prosecution experience in electrical engineering. The candidate will draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering and similar technologies. Will contribute to a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution. Assist with taking depositions and defending depositions. Perform due diligence. Support the practice by performing general research and writing. A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or equivalent practical experience is required. Should be licensed to practice law in either California, Colorado or Texas and be in good standing. USPTO Patent Bar admission is required.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials and a passion for technology. Excellent written communication skills and an ability to produce written work product that is concise and effective are required. Must be conscientious with a proven attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and an ability to offer unique perspectives on complex issues are essential. Should be organized and efficient with disciplined time management skills.
