Corporate Associate Attorney

Garden City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks corporate associate attorney with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The candidate will mentor and work with entry-level associates. Will communicate with clients and draft documents for firm projects. Support the senior attorneys on projects and tasks as needed. Strong Westlaw experience is required. Admission to the New York Bar is required. Admission to other states (NJ, CA, ME, OK, AK, NE) is preferred. Strong academic background with a journal and/or moot court experience is required. Strong computer abilities, including the use of Microsoft Office products; Word, Outlook, and Excel are highly preferred.

The candidate should have proven strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. The ability to interpret, analyze, organize and express complex legal material quickly and accurately is needed. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and proactively meet deadlines and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects and goals is required. Must have high levels of self-direction, self-motivation, and energy. Must have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively relate to and build relationships with all levels of staff is needed. Must have the ability to thrive in a team environment.
