Philadelphia office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level environmental transactional associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience drafting and negotiating environmental provisions of PE, finance, real estate, and M&A deals. The candidate must have experience working with environmental consultants and coordinating environmental due diligence efforts, as well as a broad familiarity with federal environmental laws and associated liability regimes. Should preferably also have experience with environmental issues in capital markets and bankruptcy matters, as well as defending indemnity claims and pursuing indemnification rights. Experience handling compliance matters (including permits and permit transfers), ESG issues, and familiarity with climate change litigation would be helpful. Must have PA Bar admission. Should preferably have immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
