Venture Capital / Fund Formation Associate Attorney

Washington D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks venture capital / fund formation associate attorney with 3-5 years of private investment fund formation experience. The candidate should preferably have experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds and have completed fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions (i.e., involving the general partner and management company entities) and secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests. Candidate with experience representing high growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters involving private investment funds, but wishes to focus on private investment fund formation and operations matters, will also be considered. Must have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm.

The candidate must have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
