Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a litigation discovery staff attorney with demonstrated litigation discovery experience. The candidate will report to the Chair of the Discovery Practice Group. Assess the discovery needs of assigned litigation matters, identify potential issues, and devise a plan for cost-effective compliance that leverages the skills of the paralegal team and the firm's discovery-managed services vendor. Conduct data preservation interviews, draft preservation protocols, devise preservation notice distribution and tracking plans, and assist with monitoring preservation compliance. Oversee data collection and ensure sound transfer of data. Prepare supporting materials and outlines for discovery conferences, and participate when needed. Draft and review written discovery, including the format of production specifications and appropriate objections. Participate in and manage document reviews, including training and supervising contract attorneys and document review teams. Coordinate document productions and the creation of privilege logs. Experience managing teams of legal professionals on discovery projects is required. Large law firm experience is preferred. Should ideally have hands-on litigation experience, including helping a variety of clients comply with discovery obligations. Must have Bar admission in good standing or a willingness to become admitted in a jurisdiction where the firm maintains an office.

The candidate must have strong e-Discovery software skills. Excellent technical, professional, and client service skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This is a non-partnership track position.
