Cleveland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a pleading review associate attorney preferably with 1-2 years of experience in the Creditors Rights or Collection fields. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing complaints, letters, and other pleadings and determining whether there are sufficient grounds to proceed based on Federal State, and Client regulations. Will be remaining in compliance with all protocols in line with our organization.s goals, strategy, and values. Secondary responsibilities may include court appearances, file management, and collections negotiations. Review pleadings for accurate information, including but not limited to, venue, balances, correct named parties, the statute of limitations, proper documentation, and proper theories of recovery. Assist in legal research to ensure pleadings and laws contained therein are up-to-date with applicable laws. Must have strong pleading and complaint experience with a knowledge of collections-related court documents. Computer and word processing skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel along with a quick ability to learn new technical programs essential. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential. Must be licensed in the state of Ohio.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.). Must have good communication skills. Should have strong motivation, demonstrated by the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
