Rockville office of our client seeks bankruptcy associate attorney with 3+ years of experience representing debtors or creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans. Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal and otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys. Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience a plus. Must be admitted to practice in Maryland and/or Virginia and all federal bankruptcy courts. Admitted to practice in other states a plus. Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research essential.

The candidate must have the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume environment as well as have the ability to professionally communicate with clients, work both independently and as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service. Must have excellent leadership skills. Should have excellent communication and organization abilities. Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload essential.
