Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks employment attorney with 4+ years of experience. The candidate will provide legal counsel and advice to employers, federal contractors and executives on the full range of workplace law matters. Will advise and represent employers and federal contractors on pay equity matters, EEO and affirmative action obligations, and related compliance with the obligations enforced by DOLs Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Advise and represent employers facing government audits and enforcement actions by federal and state agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board. Provide counsel and advice on compliance with the full range of workplace laws and regulations, and related self-audits and training, including in EEO, wage and hour and disability and leave matters. Should be a Member in good standing of a Bar. Must have strong working knowledge of federal employment and labor laws and regulations. Experience and demonstrated abilities in legal research and writing is essential. Experience in pay equity, OFCCP audits and compliance issues is preferred. Litigation experience in judicial or administrative proceedings, including discovery, motion practice, trials and post-trial motions and appeals is desired.

Must have a Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school with strong academic achievements. Demonstrated excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills is needed.
