Staff Antitrust Attorney

New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks staff antitrust attorney with experience. The candidate must have a basic understanding of antitrust fundamentals in order to counsel clients on their obligations under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Improvements Act and premerger compliance process in the US and internationally. Will advise on all antitrust aspects of transactions, including evaluating and interpreting HSR Act-related issues, providing guidance to clients through the premerger process and responding to informal inquiries and second requests as necessary. Experience in HSR notification compliance and representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice Antitrust Division in merger clearance matters is preferable. Must be licensed to practice in New York.

The candidate should possess excellent academic credentials. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, will be essential in order to effectively manage client relationships. Must be self-motivated, eager to learn and willing to commit to the antitrust practice.
