Los Angeles office of our client seeks will, trust, and estate attorney with 5 years of experience in the field of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and trust administration. The candidate will be assisting clientele in drafting trusts, wills, ancillary documents, trust funding instruments, post-mortem planning, and trust administration. Will be helping clients arrange their affairs to protect and distribute their assets when they become incapable of doing so themselves or when they pass away. Drafting of wills and trusts, granting powers of attorney, and tax planning. Consulting clients regarding powers of attorney, revocable and irrevocable trusts, tax sheltering, and probate. Draft legal documents, review and revise legal documents when clients request changes, and represent clients interests in probate court. Assist with the drafting and preparation of highly customized foundational estate planning documents (revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies) and advanced estate planning documents (IDGTs, ILITs, QPRTs, GRATs) using a HotDocs based documents drafting software. Review and analysis of clients existing estate planning documents. Assist with Estate Administrations, including Probates and Trust Settlements. Preparation and review of certain trust funding documents including deeds, beneficiary designation forms, company-specific account forms. Perform traditional associate attorney duties including legal research and writing, producing various documents, correspondence, and memos as necessary. Extensive experience working directly with clients and capable of managing matters independently is needed. Preferably bilingual (Spanish) is essential.
