Palo Alto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The candidate will be conducting patent-mining and patent-brainstorming with client product teams. Will be conducting disclosure meetings with clients for new patent applications. Drafting and filing original patent applications. Conducting examiner interviews, drafting responses to office actions and handling all other aspects of patent prosecution from filing to issuance. Supervising others, including patent attorneys and patent agents, on all the preceding; and advising clients on strategic patent-portfolio development and management. Must preferably have an undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. Should preferably be licensed to practice law in California, have a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registration number, and have experience working in the IP department of a comparable law firm. Experience in patent litigation or PTAB trials is a plus.

The candidate should have a high level of academic achievement at an accredited law school.
