Investment Management Associate

New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an investment management associate with 3 years of experience. The candidate should have experience with private investment fund formation (private equity, hedge, real estate and venture capital funds), as well as forming/structuring the related general partner and management entities. Should have experience drafting investment management agreements, offering documents, operating agreements, limited partnership agreements and side letters, and representing institutional investors in their investments into private investment funds. Should have knowledge of the Investment Advisors Act, the Investment Company Act, the Securities Act, and the Commodity Exchange Act. Must have strong academic credentials, and excellent writing skills and should enjoy working with others in a team-oriented setting.
