Job Overview:
A growing personal injury law firm based in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an experienced and driven Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This fully remote role is ideal for a self-motivated litigator with a passion for courtroom advocacy and a proven track record of first-chair trial experience. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of injured clients by pursuing justice and fair compensation. Location:

  • Jacksonville, FL

Duties:

  • Serve as first-chair trial counsel in personal injury cases from pre-trial through verdict

  • Manage a caseload involving auto accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and premises liability

  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations

  • Develop and execute case strategies, including trial preparation and courtroom presentation

  • Prepare legal documents such as motions, trial briefs, and exhibits

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the internal team

  • Collaborate remotely with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case progression

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience

  • Demonstrated experience serving as first-chair in personal injury trials

  • Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

  • Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida (required)

  • Georgia Bar admission (preferred, not required)

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills

  • Highly organized with effective time-management capabilities

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
