Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks corporate cyber, privacy and data innovation attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The candidate should have strong transactional experience drafting and negotiating technology transaction agreements with an emphasis on payment acceptance terms; due diligence and drafting of mergers/acquisitions agreements. Experience and familiarity with compliance and issue-spotting on various consumer-facing financial sector regulatory issues, such as Gramm Leach Bliley, Fair Credit Reporting Act/FACTA, Truth in Lending Act needed. Must have familiarity with general consumer protection rules, including state data breach rules and drafting of notification letters, data privacy/security matters. Familiarity with or willingness to become more familiar with money transmission and blockchain and/or digital currency issues is a plus. Prior admission to the DC Bar is preferred with the ability to waive in required.

The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, dynamic, and creative individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, and above all a team player. Must possess strong academic credentials, excellent legal research and superb writing and oral communications skills.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a sizable bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
