Attorney needed for Portland office

Portland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an attorney with 3+ years of substantive legal experience. The candidate will handle cases from inception to resolution. Will craft and execute strategies that optimize favorable outcomes in advocating for clients based on the review of initial case information and ongoing fact investigation. Substantive communication with courts, administrative offices, financial institutions, and clients. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments. Attendance at hearings and trials. Should be actively licensed in West Virginia (additional State Bars in good standing are a bonus). Prior experience in one or more of these areas is preferred: Medicaid eligibility and reimbursement, administrative appeals, civil litigation, probate, and estate claims, and guardianships. Must be tech savvy with working knowledge of Mac/Apples, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and timekeeping software.

The candidate should have Graduated from an ABA-accredited law school. Positive and candid communication, both oral and written forms essential. Must have the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a remote team of colleagues and office staff. Should have energy, discipline, and self-motivation to thrive in a home office. Must have a high level of organization and time management.
